5. Dopey Dems don't realize the difference...Bush is guilty of
high crimes and misdemeanors while Clinton was merely quilty of poor judgment in his personal life.

6. Welcome to DU DavidSwanson!
:hi:

More from the article:

"Impeachment advocates are undaunted. "Just because you can't win a political battle doesn't mean certain battles shouldn't be fought," says Bob Fertik, a founder of the ImpeachPAC effort. "If we don't hold a president accountable for lying to start a war, we might as well throw out the Constitution of the United States.""

7. The public knew then and knows now. Clinton was hounded for 5 years by
fanatics and after spending 70 MILLION dollars they found he had made a moral slip. The public did not want him impeached.

The current Resident of the White house has committed many high crimes including LIEING us into war that have resulted in over ONE HIOUNDRED THOUSAND DEAD and countelss wounded. The public wants him tried (impeached) and removed before he does any more damage.

8. Note that the MSM were all against Clinton
in spite of public opinion being in support of him.

Meaning that public opinion as portrayed by the media isn't necessarily te same as real public opinion.

It's one of those very obvious cases of "manufactured consent", aka propaganda.

Now, what else are they lying about?

10. The DEM leadership is so behind on this...
there was a backlash against the GOP because people know the difference between a mistep in personal conduct (Clinton) versus lying that has grave consequences (Iraq, Katrina). I was pissed that they wasted so much money for Ken Starr investigation. DEM leadership is stupid on this one.

13. the thing that pisses me off.
Is how the article states that "mainstream: Democrats aren't yet ready to make an issue of impeachment because they see it as a politically risky issue.

Political expedience and opportunity over justice....sounds about right to me.

At least when the GOP went after Clinton their ideology drove them to (foolish) action, the majority of the Washington Dems ideology seems to delay action until the work is dead easy.

15. Faulty Dem logic: public was incensed about politicizing SEX (Clinton)
but are supporting punitive action (impeachment) if Bush lied to get us into war, etc.

Wake up, dopey Dems. Americans are PISSED.

19. Impeachment is the consequence Bush must pay.
This isn't revenge for Bill Clinton. This isn't tit for tat.

It's called a reckoning.

America MUST impeach Bush or we are truly lost as a nation.
