Marines in Iraq: Air America, Wonkette prohibited; O'Reilly, Limbaugh OK
Garbage in, garbage out

We were taken aback the other day when a Zogby poll showed that 85 percent of troops serving in Iraq believe that a major reason for their mission is to "retaliate for Saddam's role in the 9/11 attacks."

Maybe we shouldn't have been.

If a report passed along by Wonkette is to be believed, U.S. troops in Iraq are getting a one-sided take on Internet news and opinion from home. A member of the Armed Forces serving in Iraq tells Wonkette that the U.S. Marine Corps prohibits access to Wonkette and the "Air America" Web site but allows troops to get their Internet fixes from Bill O'Reilly and Rush Limbaugh.

1. During the Vietnam War our soldiers listed to radio that did not
go through formal channels. Is there no way to go that way?
