How much "political capital" does Bush have left ??

How much "political capital" does Bush have left ??
He seems to think he has a bunch left? However, he may find his card declined when he tries to spend it on the "ports sale" and on the "line item veto"? He is as Broke as the Mountain. :)

1. Looks like Congress will keep approving pretty much everything he asks for

9. Have we made any progress on the Democratic agenda... at all?
I cannot think of one area where we have
moved forward.
Seems the best we can do is put a temporary hold
on some of Bush's programs.
(Do our votes count yet?)

Very discouraging.

4. Some columnist (Garrison Keillor?) said it was worth a few cents in 12/04
when he first made that claim. It's so far gone now that bu$h is deply in debt, capital-wise.

5. He was already overdrawn...
when he declared that he had "political capital" right after "sElection 2004" - he didn't actually win, and he knew it. It's all lies and bluster. His political capital is the same as "his" government's capital, in the red.
