3-8-06: Ion Sancho pits his lawyers against Diebold
Breakneck pace for breaking news on Ion Sancho and Leon County, Florida.

Last night, two of three companies were refusing to sell to him, with the third -- Sequoia -- refusing to return his calls. Sequoia has now formally refused to sell, making the blackballing operation complete.

The blackballing is specific to Sancho himself. A Diebold rep has stated that the issue is Sancho, not Leon County. With this act, Diebold has inserted itself inappropriately into the Florida constitution, effectively saying that vendors get to choose who an elected official should be, instead of the voters.

This article and the links we are adding will be tracking the fast-breaking news on the Ion Sancho issue.

1. Kick-n-Recommended........I like this part

"These are pretty incredible days," he told us. "There's a titanic clash now going on that's almost unfathomable. These are multi-billion dollar corporations that we've caught here and they don't like it," he explained, clearly exasperated by the situation he reluctantly finds himself in the middle of.

"I'm just a citizen," he went on, "and I've never seen or been involved in anything like this."
