This is one of the more bizarre ones, and that's saying a lot!

I particularly liked his line about the U.S. allowing the Iraqis to realize their years of democratic tradition...huh? They've never know democracy...what tradition? WTF, Georgie?

As for Iraq - they had elections for decades. Just because there was only one person to vote for doesn't mean it's not a democracy. Saddam got 105% of the votes every year.

17. It was very long.

Very. Rambling...with a loooooong speech beforehand I didn't listen to, just the Q&A. That was the really scary part, the unscripted. Lots of dead air, deer-in-headlights stares, missed words. Lots of leaning on the podium and setting his Texas Drawl-O-Meter to stun. I'm not sure who'd devote the bandwidth to the whole thing. If it's on the WH site, I'm sure they edited the hell out of it. Does Final Cut Pro have a filter to eliminate idiocy?

14. How does he sound?

I caught a few moments of him on NPR this morning and noticed that he sounded very flat, almost depressed. Usually, he sounds all smirky and condescending with all those weird pauses and that fake Texas drawl. But what I heard this morning was just flat--the Texas smirk was gone.
