The most recent West Wing, wouldn't it be nice to have a POTUS like that
- One who asks questions when being briefed
- One who shows concern for his Soldiers by inquiring about their outerwear as he considers sending them into a cold climate
- One who agonizes over the possibility of sending troops into battle

- Then we see the gop having to depend on the religiously insane to get elected as vinnick has to turn to a fundamentalist advisor as his campaign falters. The only way to save the gop candidacy is to set the hair of religious zealots on fire. Just like in real life.
- And vinnick telling the president that it will take generations to truly bring democracy to another country and says if the invasion that Bartlett has planned happens he (vinnick) can kiss his tax cut goodbye. Rational thinking, oh my.

And to top it off Josh and Donna are getting in touch with their pornographic side while Will and Kate continue with their extraterrestrial physical life. Surely there is a spin off here somewhere.

2. Martin Sheen would be an improvement
Geena Davis would even be an improvement over what we have now.

3. Nothing wrong with Geena Davis
She's smart.

But just about anyone with half a curiousity about the world could be an improvement. Even Adam Sandler, or, god forbid, Ahnold.

4. Geena Davis has a resume which would be attractive to
"conservatives." She shot a man in Thelma and Louise and she had sex with an insect in the Fly and she did it in private; the same place christian "conservatives" live their kinky lives. And she can play the all american game baseball as exhibited in A League of their own. Go Geena.

5. Maybe the ones we SHOULD be looking at are the writers!
http://b4a.healthyinterest.net/news/000249.html

Seems the top two now have the free time to run a campaign!

One of television's best-known writers, Aaron Sorkin, who has led the NBC series "The West Wing" to three straight Emmy awards for the best drama on television, announced yesterday that he was quitting the show.

Joining him in leaving is his partner in the show, Thomas Schlamme, who, like Mr. Sorkin, is an executive producer and also an Emmy winner as lead director of "The West Wing."

In a statement, Mr. Sorkin said, "I had the best job in show business for four years and I'll never forget that." He did not cite any specific reasons for his decision, though people involved with the show mentioned a number of factors, including the pressure of writing so much of it himself, the increasing budget problems of the series and the show's declining ratings.

After all, it's the writers whose ideas we see the actors playing out.
