Bakersfield, CA URGENT!!!! (Need primary election sigs by Wednesday!)
REPOST from GD.

I am trying to get on the primary ballot for the 32nd District Assembly seat being vacated by Kevin McCarthy. Since he is not running for reelection (he is running for Bill Thomas' US Congress seat), the deadline was extended until tomorrow (Wednesday). I live in Ridgecrest and will be going to Bakersfield to turn in the signatures to the election offices. I need some more signatures. Can anybody help??

This is kind of rushed since McCarthy just last week decided not to run, and my wife and I spent the weekend discussing this and have decided to give it a shot. We know the district is extreeeeeeeeemely conservative, but what the hell...

MUST:
Be a registered Democrat (of course),
Live in the 32nd Assembly District (http://assembly.ca.gov/defaulttext.asp and click "find my district"), and
Have not signed anybody else's petition to get on the ballot for this seat

Please PM me tonight or in the morning with your email address and I can email you the forms to sign (or get a few others to sign). I can then meet you somewhere (like Starbucks or Barnes & Noble) to get the petitions from you.

ANY help would be appreciated. One signature from you is one more than I would have without your help.

THANKS!!!
