Hopeisaplace came up with the idea to make an acronym of my
suggestion on another thread.

I would like the Dems to take this and ram it back at them
when they say 'oh, but the Dems have no plan'

It both plays up positive goals AND the fact that we can't get these with the current party in power.

Their present response of "We Can Do Better" is such a turn off to those of us who think
"ENOUGH IS ENOUGH" fits out outrage better! "We Can Do Better" is such a wimpy slogan that I don't want to be a part of it! Dammit!

This is a nice one - good thinking!

Yeah I guess I am. I don't really do the 'fan' thing. I did watch
the original series. It was a special treat for me as it was one
night when my mom and dad let me stay up an extra hour to watch the
show.

Just curious.

I am not too familiar with the 'next generations'. I was a fan of the
original series back in the sixties. I used to watch it in reruns when
I could.
My dad was a science teacher and he liked everthing scientific.
When 2001 came out we saw it the first night or two it showed.

Later, when Star Wars came out we saw that together. But my Dad
was not so impressed....'cowboys in space'.

But, we always liked Star Trek. Plus, my dad looked a little like
William Shatner.
