euphemism that only dumb neocons will grab onto for dear life, so they can play the "semantics" game that * NEVER said civil war? You know it's coming.

faction infighting?
disunity division? (KKKarl likes illiteration)
sect turbulence? (sounds like Rummy)

edit: usual stuff

3. I think they are going to stick with "we have to fight them there...
so that we don't have to fight them here"

I still hear the republicans on the radio spouting that every day...
It's not civil war to them, its fighting Al Quida...they might be wrong, but it makes them feel better that way:)

4. I think the Kurds are just waiting for the "quasi-government"
to be dissolved so they can seal their borders. Then Southern Iraq can just join Iran, and the Sunni area can, well, maybe invite Saddam back to be their leader.

5. They might actually go with 'civil' war ...
... and assure everyone that the term means the warring factions are treating each other with courtesy.

7. The reason for messing with Iran might hinge on the failings of Iraq.
Think about that. It makes me nuts, but could be.

10. "Turf battles" or better yet, "neighborhhood squabbles"
The Bush Crime Family and its corporate media propagandists will never admit to a Civil War over there. They still have a sizable number of people thinking we're there to fight terrorists, and this thing can still be "won." As long as there's money to be made by Halliburton and oil to be stolen, we'll be there come hell or high water. We haven't built a bunch of permanent bases for nothing.

Squabbling, of course, of such gentlemanly variety that everyone runs for the exit so as not to be come a victim of a random killing.
