I am posting this in GD for those who do not check out the Texas Forum (shame,shame,...you know who you are).

David is a fine man running for Attorney General and Texas really needs him in office. There will be plenty other members of Democratic Underground in the crowd. Support David, the AG is stronger than the Governor or Lt Gov in Texas.

Meet and hear David Van Os at his Houston "Whistlestop". Enjoy Texas BBQ and listen to music by David Rovics ("The Musical Version of Democracy Now" according to Amy Goodman) and "Brother Can You Spare A Dime" (a musical-political-comedy). Richard Morrison is the Master of Ceremonies.
Venue: Drexler's BBQ, 2300 Pierce St., Houston
Date: March 25, 2006
Time: 5pm - 8pm
Email: gederberg@sbcglobal.net

1. Here's a wish from the Dallas area:
Go Van Os!

I'll be at my county Democratic Party Convention tomorrow.

2. I wish I was going to be there...
but I live in California.

David and Rachel are friends of mine.

I think Texas (where my family settled in 1630 in what is now Angelina County, and where my heart will always call home) is close to flipping.

Keep the home fires burning.
