The underlying importance of the censure vote....
No matter if it is voted up or down, the important point is that it has been put on the table for discussion. If the Democrats do win back the House or the Senate in November, they can proceed with an investigation or censure with more credibility, since they have already broached the subject.

At that time, they can argue that the Republicans refused to allow an investigation of this very important matter. Breaking the law is no trivial matter. Of course, the Republicans will say at that time, that the subject of censure was brought up and the majority of Democrats did not agree with censure, if indeed the majority of Democrats vote against censure. If they do vote against the censure, it will make it more difficult to hold George Bush accountable when and if the Dems win back the Hosue or Senate.

1. So Kentuck, what is the answer???
How do we get these evil criminals out of the white house and in prison where they belong???
My heart is heavy and my soul is weary from what the usa has become and what we have done to all the innocent people. When people like my beloved friend Cindy Sheehan gets thrown in jail for speaking her mind and voicing her opinion and condi can talk bullshit as well as bush and rummy and cheney and no one censores them I have to ask what have we become???
I am sorry but sometimes I can barely get out of bed because of the deep depression, and sorrow that I feel!!!
My best friend's son is leaving for Iraq tomorrow,he is married and has 3 children and was in the national guard. If he comes home alive his mind will never be alright again. He is a gentle loving person who could never hurt anyone.I have known him since he was 7 and I cant bear what lies ahead for him and his family.

2. It is important that the majority of Democrats vote for censure....
Because, when they win back the House or Senate, they woud then have credibility to investigate and prosecute any laws that have been broken under this Administration and they have a responisbility to do so... It will be difficult to censure or impeach 8 months from now if they see no reason to do so now. This is a vote that requires some foresight by our elected Congress.

3. Everybody, call now!
Should we let this go on another minute without taking action?

Please, call your senator now!
