3. I do not think this is getting new blood into the WH
I love to read history and went on a mad read of Nicholas the second and Russia once and I swear it is Bush all over. That endless belief that you are right, and have little information about what is going on and so unsure you would never try anything but what your yes men say to do as they think like you. People also liked Nicholas and he was good and true to his wife and loved his children. He just lived in a bubble and ended up killing all sorts of people and became Bloody Nicholas to his own country. He even started that silly war with Japan. I guess we have put the same type in office, just as the Czar got into office by birth, so has Bush. I guess if we have an average President he can not be average in all things. If only he had the will to hear some thing but his own silly voice.Another yes man who has been their for ever is not going to help.

6. From Wikipedia:
Joshua Brewster Bolten (born August 16, 1955) was named as White House Chief of Staff on March 28, 2006, replacing Andrew Card. He will take over from Card on April 14, 2006.

Bolton's father, Seymour, worked for the CIA and his mother, Analouise, taught world history at George Washington University. He graduated from St. Albans School, and he is now on the school's board. At Princeton University, he attended the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs. He also served as class president and president of the highly prestigious and exclusive Ivy Club. He graduated in 1976. At Stanford Law School, from which he graduated in 1980, he was an editor of the law review. Bolten has held a number of positions in finance and government.

Currently the Director of Office of Management and Budget, Bolten was confirmed by the Senate to that position in 2003. Bolten was Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy at the White House from 2001 to 2003. He previously served as policy director for the 2000 George W. Bush Presidential campaign from 1999 to 2000 and as Executive Director for Legal and Government Affairs at Goldman Sachs in London from 1994 to 1999. He was general counsel to the Office of the United States Trade Representative for three years and Deputy Assistant to the President for Legislative Affairs for one year during the administration of George H. W. Bush.

8. Thank you. Unless I'm missing something that doesn't seem to say whether
he is or isn't related somehow even distantly. It doesn't really matter I suppose... the fact is that this new COS isn't fresh blood in any way shape or form... it's just more SSDD.

Thanks again for the info though... he at least seems semi qualified which is more then I can say for most of Bush's appointee's/nominee's.
