3. Excellent interview. I especially liked how he made the connection
from our society's poor care for children (he was doing something involved with foster homes this morning), and how we end up needing to spend $94B on prisons, and then we wonder why. Of course he slammed the tax cut for the wealthy and the so called values of people who would do that instead of taking care of kids.

4. That was great
Geez, he sounds so completely disgusted. I really liked him using the word "pious" because that's it exactly, and "they're just screwed up". Ha. He hit all the right points, great job.

5. That was very good and fitting too
I had a discussion with my dad about the religious right on the way back from the campus today and my dad who has recently gotten quite spirtual/religious was talking about the self righteousness of them, seems like Kerry is on that page too, I thought it was a nice interview. Shame that Kerry isn't our president, I think he would have been a great one.

7. He was in DC
being a Senator, but spoke of going to something on foster kids in the morning.

9. Kerry continues to be actually funny and informative at the same time
For those of us who know him and don't diss him for misinformed reasons, this was a great classic interview.

11. Absolutely.
He made a lot of good points in that interview. I'll admit, I wish I had a transcript, but I don't have time to do it myself (at least not right now). Anyone have a few minutes and want to listen to JK over and over again and jot it down? (Or better yet, anyone have a link to where it's already done?)

12. The audience reaction to Kerry was surprisinly explosive. The passion
seems to have grown since 2004. I would love to see a Kerry/Bush poll now.

13. Yes, they really sounded very enthusiastic about him.
But then, I always thought CA folks tended towards the smarter end of the scale.
