I'm watching Hardball, they are dscussing the cuts to NY & DC on anti-terrorist funding. You can go out to any strett in the US, ask 100 citizens, which two cities are the greatest risk for terrorist attacks and they will say NY & DC. How in go's heaven earth can someone seriously make NY #23? a 40% cut?

I'm sorry I said that (not). I'm just a little cynical this evening.

Truth is, they are idiots who want to line their friends' pockets with the money through other warmongering, tax-cutting-for-the-rich avenues.

5. And I bet they have second homes
I had this argument with a RW relative the other night. He made a point saying the wealthy don't give a shit about any of it. They will just get out of the country.

3. Normally it's rather easy to find humor in abject stupidity.
In this case, though, the abject stupidity is a danger to all of us.

6. Under *: up is down, lies are truth, debt is good, etc etc. Just more
to the list: NYC & DC - no terrorism. Missouri - lots of terrorism.

8. No humor in election year politics. The GOP wants to keep Congress.
NY and DC could get bombed out of existence and the GOP would shed only crocodile tears.
