THOUGHTS ON IRAQI PREMIER'S ATTACK ON AMERICAN TROOPS
Our mother-fixated Commander-In-Chief's Oedipal Adventure into the Islamic Fundamentalist mined lands of the Arabian deserts has blown up in his alcohol-pickled face. This morning's New York Times headline reads, "PREMIER ACCUSES U.S. OF ATTACKING CIVILIANS IN IRAQ." The report states that Prime Minister Nuri Kamal al-Maliki of Iraq lashed out at the American military yesterday, denouncing what he characterized as habitual attacks by troops against Iraq Civilians.
The Times reports that "In his comments, Mr. Maliki said violence against civilians has become a 'daily phenonenom ' by troops in the American led coalition who 'do not respect the Iraqi people.' "
Now, this is a regime totally dependent upon U.S. military forces to keep some semblance of order in a country in the throes of anarchy. Mr. Maliki depends on U.S. might for his very existence! Oh, Where Have All The Flowers Gone!? Are not Mr. Maliki and friends the very ones whom the Bush Administration proclaimed would throw roses at the military boots of the troops of the American Empire as they ended their march across desert sands and into Bagdad?
Oh well, as that great American folk hero, Don Rumstud, has said, "democracy is messy." And doesn't he have it right! Indeed the madcap exploits of Rummie, Junior and the Dark Prince Cheney, in Iraq, have created a very messy situation in the sands of Mesopotamian . Remember the purple fingers of the Iraqi voters? Recall how Rummie, Junior and the Dark Prince said that the election vindicated the Empire's invasion and occupation, that Iraq would soon be the shining democratic city on the hill, beaming hope throughout the dark Islamic World?
What a fine mess you've gotten us into now boys! Instead of democracy, we have death squads, gangs that would put the Crips to shame, and Al Qaeda all over the country. Worse, the Iraqi politicians and government departments have their own militias, instead of supporting a unified Iraqi national military! And now Junior's God Inspired Oedipal excursion, carried out by our brave men and women in uniform,. have all been urinated upon by a Premier that should be Junior's puppet. Mr. Maliki's statements amount to tarring all of our troops as war criminals.
This is an outrage that only a group of mindless fanatics in Washington, D.C. could tolerate. One wonders how the Premier's statement will be spun by the administration's spin doctors and pimps and whores at Fox News.
Obviously, the way to support our troops, maligned and hated by the government of a that they fought for, and were maimed and killed to establish, is to bring them home now. Any other course would be dishonorable. I'm wondering if the American people know what the word 'honor' means anymore. There damn well better be a collective outrage about this one!
