Rove at FL GOP bash , fondly recalls *his* election night returns
Rove harsh on critics of Iraq War

By STEVE BOUSQUET, Times Staff Writer
Published June 2, 2006

FORT LAUDERDALE — Presidential adviser Karl Rove told an enthusiastic crowd of Broward County Republicans on Friday night that the worst mistake the U.S. could make is to “cut and run” in Iraq.

Without mentioning growing opposition to the war or the record-low popularity in polls of his boss, President Bush, Rove gave a resounding defense of the decision to go to war three years ago, and he blasted Democrats who now consider the war a mistake.
Rove saved his harshest criticism for the man Bush defeated in 2004: Massachusetts Sen. John Kerry, who voted for the war in Iraq but now supports a deadline for withdrawing American troops in Iraq.

Rove, who is under investigation in the leak of a CIA operative’s identity, thrilled the partisan audience with behind-the-scenes anecdotes in the West Wing or on Air Force One. He recalled his sophisticated computer program to track returns on election night 2004 that contradicted exit polls showing Bush losing in Florida.

“I’ll never forget. The first county I clicked was Hernando. Then Pasco. And about that time, Jeb called in,” Rove recalled. “I started working my way down the east coast and he said, 'Start with Broward.’ … It was clear, we were running well ahead of where we needed to run, and Jeb said, 'We’re going to win, and we’re going to win big.’ ”

Lotsa heat gonna come your way soon, Karl. And maybe the Jebster too.

8. I don't know what Rove's legal future will be. Maybe he will escape
Fitzgerald's wrath, or maybe not. Maybe he will be pardoned by his master, or maybe not.

But he remains one of the most loathed human beings in the nation's history.

If cosmic vibes are a real thing, they must be comin' at Karl Rove like God's own lightning.

There is something very, very close to the monster in him. It's almost palpable when he's talking, or being quoted at events just like this one.

9. k&r. Ah yes I remember election night, early in the a.m. and CBS
reporting that Fat Bastard Jr. had emerged from the "Bat Cave" and was telling the media to go ahead and call Ohio in favor of Boo$h. His "crystal ball", er, sophisticated computer was telling him it was a done deal.

Rat bastards revel in their own feces.

They've got to be kidding?

Broward results -

BUSH - 243699
KERRY - 452360

What part of Kerry winning big in Broward does Rove not understand?

11. Did they actually switch the vote?
In my heart I know that the supreme court Selected Bush but, did Katherine and Jeb allow the vote numbers to be switched? It appears they might have. I am so angry at Sandra Day-O'Connor (the swing vote) to have allowed this Selection happen. I hope she rots in hell!

12. I suspect that many Kerry votes were peeled off and added to *'s total.
Broward County is a HUGE Dem area, and shaving votes from Kerry's total there and adding them to the * column would *never be detected*. I think this happened in many Dem strongholds... Kerry was still the winner, but by many f-e-w-e-r votes. Those skimmed votes were switched to *.

Multiply these stolen Kerry votes by many more precincts across the country that went Democratic, and add them to *'s total, and it would fraudulently appear that * had a big lead.

That Rove thinks he's so smart.
