Should Cloned Cow Milk be a voting issue?
I received a phone call yesterday from a survey company. I live in Hastert's district, and it was basically about the congressional election. All of the questions were very skewed toward republican talking points. They even lumped moral values & religion into the same category, so that I couldn't pick one or the other. After the initial survery questions, they proceeded to inquire about my thoughts on the US purchasing milk from Cloned Cows. One question after another, just rephrasing whether or not it was an issue for me. Then the big question... I was asked if I would vote Rep or Dem this year. Dem of course, followed by this question, "Would knowing that your democratic candidate supported milk from cloned cows prompt you to change your vote to republican?".

First off, I don't care if milk is coming from a cloned cow, as long as it's organic, and not otherwise chemically tampered with. Second, why is this even an issue?!?!?! With all that is going on, do you (surveyor/congressman/anyone) really think I give a crap about cloned cow milk? And even if I did, do you think it ranks anywhere in the league of all the corruption, lies, war, stripping me of my rights, recording the numbers I have called, and god knows what else?

NO! I will not be voting for you Mr. Hastert. No, I didn't vote repuke in 2004, No, I won't vote for a single repuke in 2006, 2008 or ever - unless my only option is someone even more corrupt - which I can't see happening, but you never know. And Mr. Hastert, when I see your 4x6ft signs go up in my neighborhood, I'll also be calling my association to complain that they're breaking the signage provision. FU very much!

That is all.

4. There are not herds of cloned cows. There may be one here and there, but n
not enough to make enough milk to be even a subject for discussion

The Republicans are just fishing for something they can make into a controversy
