John Kerry: Bush a Criminal, Looting Country
Failed presidential candidate John Kerry blasted President Bush on Thursday as a "criminal" who has been "looting the country."

<snip>

According to the Web site L.A. Observed, Kerry asked the bloggers to keep his comments confidential; a request they apparently dismissed out of hand without telling him.

Blogger "Hollywood Liberal" reports that Kerry "agreed completely with someone's assessment that everything that Bush does is solely for the purpose of looting the country."

8. One thing he is NOT is sackless
And it may have taken him two weeks, but he sure did defend himself. As he is also defending himself now.

Meanwhile, as a former prosecutor and a deliberate man, I didn't expect him to "raise hell" over Ohio. I do expect him to do what he can. He's been involved at least one lawsuit I know of, though I think the judge may have dismissed that one, and he's spoken about it, though he often gets flamed when he does as pandering. Dude can't win. Some want him out of the way. Some want him front and center.

I prefer front and center, myself.

Would YOU work to expose BCCI doggedly for FIVE YEARS and against an entire DC powersturcture trying to make you stop?

Would YOU even run against the most protected by the media president in history?

16. Oy, you too. BACK TO ELEMENTARY SCHOOL WITH YOU ALL.
And after you learn to read, maybe you should start learning basic reasoning skills. 1 Senator + 2 hundred million lazy, clueless Americans + 6 "news" networks pledged only to smear said Senator and cover up vote fraud evidence + said Senator saying, as per your childish demands, "I wuz robbed!!" = 1 destroyed Democratic Party, 1 fascist regime still in charge of government (with infinite free publicity to continue to bolster their cause), 0 evidence of vote fraud (or anything else) and possibly 1 more "terrorist attack." It does NOT equal Peace, Clean Elections, Liberty and Justice for All, or any of the other one-dimensional concepts you seem to believe constitute effective leadership.

Elementary school. Remedial math. American history...no, the real history, not shit you read on Ralph Nader's blog. Then think for yourself. Maybe grow up somewhere along the way. Then, perhaps, if you can behave yourself, you can come back and converse with the big kids.

And good luck with your search through the congressional records.

The problem with Congress is it's full of wusses like Kerry who are so addicted to power that they never stick their neck out lest these loose "their precious" seat and have to work in the real world like the rest of us.

I WANT BOLD COURAGEOUS LEADERSHIP.

Edited on Wed Jun-07-06 03:48 PM by blm
And Wellstone and Feingold and Hightower were all officeholders - use their records in office to show they took on more battles against BushInc than John Kerry did.

I challenge you to choose from even ONE of your names above and compare the list of their battles to Kerry's record or effected this nation's historic record in a SUBSTANTIVE way.

If this list is what you really think, then it kinda proves my point - you do not USE the actual congressional record to come to your conclusions - you are media fed.

You prefer words against BushInc to friendly audiences OVER real substantive actions against BushInc that have actually effected this nations' history.

Show us the records of the battles they took on that effected this nation's history in a substantive way and put them up against the smaller actions in Kerry's record.

Kerry's in substantively effecting this nation's history? Because I find it interesting that you use no record of theirs to back you up.

You don't like us much, but have we ever made claims that the historic record can't back up?

You want truthtellers - so do we.

And how do you KNOW someone is telling the truth? The actual historic record would be helpful in that regard.

The bloggers at the meeting were told it was an informal off the record chat with Senator Kerry. They were asked to not take notes but there were no expectations that the bloggers would not write about meeting the Senator.

Nothing that Hollywood Liberal said in his intial post was a verbatim quote and the right wing has taken what HL said out of context.

The right wing rags are full of shit.

journalistic trick in the book.

Say something outrageous, see if you can get the guy to agree with it, then infer something else from that outrageous statement.

He didn't say it. He was asked if he agreed with a statement. Then the word criminal was added later. And then the worst possible spin was put on it by our friendly neighborhood NewsMax. Maybe I'll go and find other juicy tidbits about our Democratic leaders off of that site. After all, if it's good for this story, they must be fair and balanced enough to use as a source all the damn time.

If Kerry doesn't want bloggers to quote such comments he should carry a roll of duct tape in his pocket.

And for your information, I DID support Kerry, voting for him in the election. After which, he quickly duct taped his mouth shut and rode off into the sunset.

Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me. That's the last time I vote for him.
