GOP Chairman Asks K.T. McFarland To Bow Out Of Senate Race
June 07, 2006

After successfully urging Bill Weld to withdraw his gubernatorial bid, state republican leaders are now asking another candidate to step down.

State GOP Chairman Stephen Minarik asked Senate hopeful KT McFarland to bow out of the race on Wednesday, in a bid to unify the party and avoid a primary.

McFarland says she earned her spot on the primary ballot at the Republican Convention last week and she intends to keep it despite the fact that her rival, Former Yonkers Mayor John Spencer won the most votes at the convention.

... of either hinting at or actually asking the women
to drop out.

At least, Katherine Harris hasn't taken the hint.
(I hope she spends all of her $$.)

I don't think they can make KH back down. Maybe she and the NV dominatrix running for office should co-write a backroom thriller called "Exposed".
