The mainstream media is sometimes reluctant to have liberal bloggers, who have millions of readers, on TV because they might not be credible. But they bring on Ann Coulter without a moment's hesitation. Let's review some of Coulter's recent statements and at the end you tell me if this sounds like a credible person:

About the wives of 9/11 victims:

"I have never seen people enjoying their husband's death so much."

On Muslims:

"The conventions of civilized behavior, personal hygiene and grooming" don't apply to Muslims.......more-if you have a stomach for this....

I shudder to think that some people think so.

One of my picks from that index of Coulter Craziness:

"I think the government should be spying on all Arabs, engaging in torture as a televised spectator sport, dropping daisy cutters wantonly throughout the Middle East and sending liberals to Guantanamo."

That about sums up her values. America, is that what we stand for?

What would happen if a liberal pundit/author/lout got on public forums and spewed things like:

I think the government should be spying on all Right Wingers, engaging in torture of them (since Alberto say's torture is alright, dropping daisy cutters wantonly on their churches, offices, meeting places and homes and sending any surviving Right Wingers to Guantanamo.

Bet they would be arrested and put away. And most of the rest of us liberals would be glad such a crazy person was put somewhere they could get the help for their mental health they needed. But, surely, such a nutjob would not be on the A-list of guests for TV programs.

just by allowing her airtime, radio time, etc. when in fact, she deserves none. It's not like they try to debate her or counter her either. Her "humor" is mirthless, her insights "liberals are weenies who should be killed" are lunatic. At what point will the media's own embarassment kick in? Are they capable of that emotion?

Ann Coulter spews hate and Matt Lauer thanks her for the "fun".
