BREAKING NEWS with Wolfie late yesterday and he interviewed Specter live in the studio.

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- A Senate committee chairman warned of a "constitutional confrontation" with the Bush administration Wednesday over its domestic surveillance program, threatening to subpoena administration officials or phone company executives in a congressional review.

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Arlen Specter publicly complained about the Bush administration's refusal to cooperate with his panel Tuesday and sent a stinging letter to Vice President Dick Cheney after learning Cheney had lobbied other Republicans on his committee without his knowledge.

2. I noticed that, too.
I still want to know all about it. Do you think they just got lucky on this one?

5. I think Dick's hoping people will 'forget' while he 'reviews'
Three pages is an awful lot to go over! LOL!

Cue Darth Vader theme at the doorstep of Specter's office.

8. Probably thinks the pRez DOES have a blank check
B* signs a lot of them over to Gunner Dick's old company. As long as the money doesn't come from the haves and have-mores, it's party time.

3. Specter hopefully doesn't need an audience to do what
he claimed needed to be done and that is get to the bottom of the NSA evesdropping, phone records, on and on. Tomorrow Zaqawi will be off the front page, maybe page 2, and will the market be mentioned? There is so much bad stuff going on, as usual, it's hard to keep any story going. By the way, what are bush's poll numbers?

6. Have you read the Blumenthol article about Poppy working "behind"
the scene? He was trying to oust Rummy. Excellent read. The Boston Globe has an article out today that states we paid over 20 million to the families of dead Iraqi's last year. Up 15 million from the year prior. Lots of bad news today.
