Another half- or non-truth makes it to 'common wisdom'.

Killing Zarqawi hurts AlQuaeda

You will hear that claptrap day in and day out.

Yet there are serious hints that it may well have been Al who turned the dongs loose on ol' Abu. The reasons are not yet fully clear, but some say because he was killing too many civillians and causing loss of support for the movement. Some say he was just getting too influential to suit the druthers of the leadership.

We may never know the whole story, but rest assured the one coming from the American 'media' just ain't it.
