What we need to do to win
I'm reminded of a quote from Tip O'Neill during Nixon's re-election campaign.

He said, "We're running the last election all over again. We lost that one and we're going to lose this one unless we change our direction".

He was at a Democratic rally in South Carolina.

It seems to me that most of the DUers are still running against George Bush.

But he isn't going to be running.

We need to "change our direction"

1. NO. There's only one thing we need to do
get rid of the electronic voting machines.

the people are sick of Bush, they're sick of Republicans. They're sick of the war. The only way the republicans will win is by stealing the election, which they are all set to do.

I'm tired of hearing about "what we did wrong" last time, and how we need to change the party line or whatever.

The dems could just keep their mouth shut and do nothing and they'd win.

There's only one thing we need to do. Period.

3. pardon, me.
I think you're wrong.

The dems could just keep their mouth shut and do nothing and they'd win.

If we do nothing, if we are just the not-Republicans, we will lose. they won't even have to steal the election. 'Cause our base just won't turn out, and the mushy middle would stick with the Republicans. Change is so hard, you know.

We need to get out there and push the issues that are important to us, let the American people know where we stand on every issue. that's the way to win. give them something to vote FOR, not just AGAINST

2. How do you know Democrats truly lost the last three elections??
Because corporations like Diebold, Sequoia, and ES&S told us so?

Because the Republican Supreme Court of the U.S. said so?

Because Republican hacks corporate-owned and operated news-media told us so?

Because Karl Rove told us so?

Or maybe because prominent Democrats still continue to refuse to acknowledge what every body (not beholden to corporate dollars), through their silence, tells us so?

On the other hand, we have exit-polls that tell us different. We have meticulously analyzed data of said exit-polls telling us different. We have the non-partisan General Accounting Office (GAO), for heavens sake, telling us different!

We even have Rep. Peter King (R-New York) ON VIDEO during the 2004 election before any ballots had been counted telling us in a drunken stupor "It's all over but for the counting, and we'll take care of the counting."

Those who cast the votes decide nothing. Those who count the votes decide everything." ---Joseph Stalin

Ask yourself, now that the United States Republican government has given our voices through our votes to corporations that are never Democratically inclined, can you still proclaim that it's the Democratic Party's fault??

The ONLY ones who, in light of the abundant evidence already presented, and proven to be true, who still believe and claim that the Democratic Party has lost elections is because of something they did, or did not do...are Republicans.

Let's keep a clear head on this one, shall we?
