For this AP photo of Bush, cue up REM's "Everybody Hurts"

President Bush delivers a statement after meeting with the interagency team on Iraq on Monday, June 12, 2006 in Camp David, Md. outside Washington. At left is Vice President Dick Cheney. (AP Photo/Evan Vucci)

When the day is long and the night, the night is yours alone,
When you're sure you've had enough of this life, well hang on.
Don't let yourself go, everybody cries and everybody hurts sometimes.

Sometimes everything is wrong. Now it's time to sing along.
When your day is night alone, (hold on, hold on)
If you feel like letting go, (hold on)
When you think you've had too much of this life, well hang on.

Everybody hurts. Take comfort in your friends.
Everybody hurts. Don't throw your hand. Oh, no. Don't throw your hand.
If you feel like you're alone, no, no, no, you are not alone

If you're on your own in this life, the days and nights are long,
When you think you've had too much of this life to hang on.

Well, everybody hurts sometimes,
Everybody cries. And everybody hurts sometimes.
And everybody hurts sometimes. So, hold on, hold on.
Hold on, hold on. Hold on, hold on. Hold on, hold on. (repeat & fade)
(Everybody hurts. You are not alone.)

6. I agree. Fuck Bush -- I hope he is hurting so bad that it is
eating him up inside. There is no one on the planet that deserves it more.

George Bush is a piece of shit. I have no sympathy at all for that son of a bitch.

2. Democrats can sleep at night with 'satisfied minds'
Satisfied Mind
(By Rhodes & Hayes)(Starrite Music)

How many times have you heard someone say
"If I had his money, I could do things my way?"
Little they know that it's so hard to find
One rich man in ten with a satisfied mind.

Once I was winning in fortune and fame
Everything that I dreamed for to get a start in life's game
Suddenly it happened, I lost every dime
But I'm richer by far with a satisfied mind

Money can't buy back your youth when you're old
Or a friend when you're lonely, or a love that's grown cold
The wealthiest person is a pauper at times
Compared to the man with a satisfied mind

When my life is ended, my time has run out
My trials and my loved ones, I'll leave them no doubt
But one thing's for certain, when it comes my time
I'll leave this old world with a satisfied mind
I'll leave this old world with a satisfied mind

Note: The line "Once I was winning in fortune and fame" is also sometimes sung as:
"Once I was living in fortune and fame" or
"Once I was winning in fortune and fame" or
"Once I was wading in fortune and fame," but the version that says
"Once I was wating for fortune and fame" doesn't make sense in light of the lines that follow.

BTW, the best version I've heard of this song is The Ozard Mountain Daredevil's off their "It's Alive !" album.

4. He looks like holy hell. I could recommend a good plastic surgeon.
to take care of those wrinkles. He could use alittle nip and tuck. From the looks of it, he is NOT using enough sunblock.
