Bush talking like a different kind of Red stater

"My own view is that the (Iraqi) government ought to use the oil as a way to unite the country and ought to think about having, you know, a tangible fund for the people so the people have faith in the central government."

Next, he'll call on Iraqi workers to unshackle themselves from bourgeois values, take control of the means of production, and share their wealth to create a classless, stateless society. ;)

I heard that quote on NPR while I was getting dressed this morning. I thought I must still be asleep.

I know Bush doesn't know or understand what comes out of his mouth, but I did think his minders did.

Hey, here's an idea, let's nationalize our oil companies to pay for beneficial social services. Why not, Bush thinks it's a good idea.

I'm sure CEO's all over the country were on the horn to the White House first thing this morning. I can hear them now, "Son, I say son, has your boy lost his mind? Somebody better get that vegetable pretending to be President back on script".
