David Horowitz: I don't think that Ann Coulter wrote her book for money
David Horowitz laughed off of Larry King...

http://www.crooksandliars.com/2006/06/12.html#a8692

Horowitz was on Larry King to defend Ann Coulter's vicious attack of the 9/11 widows in her new book. He wasn't actually booted off the show, but when he defended Coulter by saying that she didn't write the book for money...well...I hear she's such a giving person. It happens at about the three minute mark.

Horowitz: and I don't think for a second that she wrote this book for money, ahhh..

Everybody on the set broke up in laughter. It was such a ridiculous statement that he started laughing at himself.

People like Horowitz say the stupidest things to justify their arguments.

Could Coulter be a plagiarist too? That's impossible! The Rude Pundit has more...

"There's a wave of leftist violence against conservative speakers on college campuses, and tonight I was a target. Four juvenile delinquents at Butler University doused me with a chocolate cream pie at the beginning of my speech on academic freedom (as if to make my point!)." - Entry from David's Blog - http://www.frontpagemag.com/blog/

3. Horowitz: Right-wing Martyr on the Cheap?
Back when David Horowitz was a leftist, right-wing San Francisco university president S. I. Hayakawa accused progressive protesters of wanting to be "martyr on the cheap."

I believe that the same can be said of Mr. Horowitz. Clearly he lacks the nerve or staying-power of a Soupy Sales to persevere under a bombardment of flying pastry.
