McDermott: Bush puts Burner on the Front Burner
The callow little man is coming to Washington State to help defeat this woman-

From Jim's e-mail-

On June 16th, the President of the United States is going to travel all the way across the country in an attempt to bail out Dave Reichert, one of his favorite freshmen Congressmen.

The reason for George Bush's trip to the Northwest is a young woman named Darcy Burner.

I met Darcy when she was just starting her campaign for Congress in the 8th Congressional District. Today her campaign is doing so well that it has attracted the attention of the President himself, who has been called in to prop up Dave Reichert, one of his steadfast supporters.

Darcy Burner is well suited to represent the 8th District:

Darcy's father, her brother and her husband are all veterans. She knows what our country must do for today's new veterans, many with combat disabilities, as they return home.
She supports plans to end the war in Iraq as soon as possible. (highlighted by RS *and* JM)
As a mother, Darcy is committed to building our education system and improving healthcare for children, families, and the retired. Like me, she believes in choice.
When Darcy Burner takes her seat in the Congress, she will work with me to improve United Nations efforts to provide family planning and health care services around the world.
George Bush's Congressman for our 8th District follows the Administration's lead. That's why I urge you to join me in supporting Darcy's campaign. You can learn more about Darcy and her campaign at: https://www.darcyburner.com.

The most important thing we Democrats can do this year to change the direction of our country is to gain control of Congress.

We win back Congress by electing 15 more Democrats the U.S. House. The fall elections are only 4 1/2 months away! Right now, volunteering to help the Burner campaign (https://www.darcyburner.com/volunteer.php) is the best way to lend your support.

If you are unable to volunteer, please send Darcy a donation (any amount will help) - https://www.darcyburner.com/contribute.php.

Believe me, gaining control of the House will change our country in profound ways. Washington's 8th Congressional District is one of the important "pickup seats" for Democrats in this year's elections.

Please help me help Darcy by making an immediate donation to her campaign - https://www.darcyburner.com/contribute.php

Sincerely,

1. you're going DOWN, sheriff dave
you grandstanding nitwit.

once again, bush doesn't have the guts to stop his limo in Seattle, he has to scurry directly over to Craig McCaw's compound in Medina.
