The Washington Times front page photo today

President Bush calls on a sunglass clad and legally blind Peter Wallsten of the Los Angeles Times during a news conference in the Rose Garden at the White House yesterday. (Casey Templeton THE WASHINGTON TIMES)

Yes, Peter. Are you going to ask that question with shades on?

Q I can take them off.

THE PRESIDENT: I'm interested in the shade look, seriously.

Q All right, I'll keep it, then.

THE PRESIDENT: For the viewers, there's no sun. (Laughter.)

Q I guess it depends on your perspective. (Laughter.)

1. It's good to see this on the front page. It's just a minor
indication of just what a brain-death couthless ass we have pretending to be pResident.

2. Moonie Times didn't put the verbal
exchange on the front page, and the caption they used would lend one to believe that chimp was doing a good deed by calling on a blind reporter. Moonie Times sucks.
