Isn't it great to have a war president?
Our kids are getting slaughtered (and now maybe kidnapped) in Iraq, bush is sabre rattling at Iran, North Korea will test a nuclear weapon any day now that has the capability of hitting the U. S. and "conservatives" want to stay the course. Will "conservatives" now go to the recruiting office since we have another war on the horizon somewhere or will they sit, back wave their flags and scream their hate at liberals? Our Army will soon grind to a halt and a democrat will get elected president with the militar in shambles. A skeptic might think its a plan.

On a serious note, Drafty isn't it? W's adventurism will be the ruin of this Nation, we are broke. Our biggest rivals hold the IOUs. Other foes have a stranglehold on our petrochemical lifeblood. I can conceive of no scenario where this works out well in the end for us, none. You may say this unduly pessimistic or even defeatism, I will reply it is merely being realistic.

If you can seriously analyze our situation in the world today and come to a optimistic outcome, please explain it to me, I am very, very concerned and could most certainly use a rosy scenario to cheer me up.
