It's the Blame, Stupid!

Um, let's not forget to blame the Republicans for Iraq. Let's play the "blame game" just this once. While we are trying to figure out a much better plan for getting us out of Iraq -- exactly what they want us to do, by the way -- let's take a moment to clobber the authors of this foolishness: Idiot-President George W. Bush, Genius-Boy Dick Cheney, and the rubber stamp Republican Congress. Blame them forehanded; blame them backhanded; blame them loudly; blame them often.

Dems, you have the high ground! Don't let the GOP frame this issue as just "What do we do now?" Be human beings for a change and frame it as "The GOP leaders have earned the title 'War Idiots' and we're going to get them a hat and shirt."

We can't pull out right away? Well maybe we can and maybe we can't, but the GOP dumb-asses who got us into this decades-long, useless mess should shut their mouths. They have had their way on this all along and the result is plain for everyone to see. If we pull out of Iraq, they say, it is an "unmitigated disaster" (quoting Snow). After all our casualties, after three long years of atrocities, after America covered herself in dung on these people's watch, after hundreds of billions of dollars... and if we leave it's an unmitigated disaster? So be it. As of right now, it's an unmitigated disaster.

And the GOP is to blame.

Bush lusted for this war, let him have it. Let him take the blame, and the scorn of millions of people. The Republicans have been wrong about every single thing. Why let them continue screwing up the Middle East and the U.S. any longer? The only thing they have accomplished is a massive power grab, and theft of wealth from the rest of us. They are dismal failures. Let them choke on their failures.
