6. I didn't see it but the idea of that makes me ill
That poor man (the uncle). I really hate news people (and I use that term extremely loosely) who become the news rather than report it.

2. I hope America starts waking up now and begins to realize............
.....this "war with Iraq" is hopeless. It's a stupid thought out occupation and the Iraqi's are reacting the same way we would if someone invaded our country.:banghead:

:patriot:I feel so sorry for these families:patriot:

4. Apparently this country is not uncomfortable enough yet.
I know, isn't that SICK? It hasn't "hit home" for enough people yet. But it WILL. Don't fret, everyday many join the club of WTF?! People are waking up, it is just taking so damn long.

9. I saw it
and the uncle was saying that the town where they were searching had been surrounded
and cut-off ...nobody in or out and that is why they were probably killed and because
it was retaliation for the three that were murdered 'allegedly' by US soldiers, in cold blood.

The uncle was saying that the US could have paid a ransom for the safe return of the two soldiers
with Iraqi money, that the administration confiscated when they froze assets(?).

Matt Lauer was saying that "but the US doesn't negotiate with terrorists..." and that the soldiers
were killed because the town was surrounded and that the kidnappers, essentially didn't have any way out.

The uncle was saying that they should've paid or offered a ransom with that money for the soldiers safe return.

(I think that's basically the way the conversation/interview went, this is only from my memory)
I'll bet it replays at 10 AM.

10. Sorry
I am sorry, but in my opinion he is not nailing the Bush Administration. This guy is not saying that Bush lied about the war and soldiers should not have been there. He is saying Bush should have negoiated with the insurgents in order to save his nephew. Sorry, but in my opinion saying that a president should do what ever he chould to save your nephew is not nailing the Bush Administration. He never once said Bush should change the general course of the war. He never said in general that Bush was mishandling the war. He mainly said Bush should have done whatever it took to save my nephew. He never once mentioned the other kids whose lives have been affected by this war. I would not be suprised if it came out that this guy is a major Bush supporter. Do not get me wrong even if he is a Bush supporters he has a right to his opinion.

With what I said before I would like to point out that I do hope it will come out that the two soldiers are alive. I am hearing conflicting stories. I have heard that the government has not confirmed that the young men were found dead. Good Morning America had something on it after the break, but I do not know if they said the military was still looking for the young men or if they had been found. All I heard was Robin Roberts saying their thoughts were with the family. Maybe she was just reporting that the military was still looking for the young men. Hopefully they will be found and returned home.

11. They found them.
They never 'confirm' right away but it was stated that the bodies ARE in US custody.
They always hold back on confirmation.
