Dorgan on CSPAN-2 discussing all the waste, fraud, and abuse

happening in Iraq at our expense. It's truly disgusting; how can anyone support this?
Mentioned Custer Battles, the biggest cheats, KBR, Halliburton, etc.
At least someone's addressing this!

1. Dorgan introduced a bill

Which went down 55-43 in a party line vote to keep tabs on some of this waste, fraud and abuse. The message from the GOP is pretty clearly, "We've got your backs, crooks. Steal away!"

But that's probably too complicated a message to penetrate to the average voter, so it's useless as a Democratic campaign strategy. Besides, there might be another side to the story, and it's actually good to have the taxpayers ripped off for billions of dollars by corporations that write hefty campaign checks to GOP candidates. At least, I'm pretty sure that's what the teevee will tell me.
