Missles Away! US vs North Korea in a dick wagging contest
Okay, Kim Jung Stupid

is about to launch his missle. TriggerDick George

has his missle defense on alert and has moved ships into 'the region' and put them on alert.

When the nut in charge of North Korea launches his new toy, Il Dunce will order a launch of our own missles and shoot it down.

This will set tongues a-wagging and show the world how big a dick George has (or, to be honest, wishes he had).

You heard it here first.

1. Your way with words
and your political sensibilities are a delightful mix that usually makes me laugh or cheer. This one made me laugh.

4. I think you're on to something there
what better opportunity to test our "shoot a bullet with a bullet" technology, as long as we know exactly where the bullet is going to be and manage to get our anti-missile missiles somewhere in range of the first 120 seconds of the objective launch.

What a great test . . . of nothing.

Even more embarrassing I wonder if we'll report that we can't even hit the bullet when we know where it is, where it's headed and how fast it's going.

Worst case scenario 1:

They have a real nuke in vicinity and we blow up their launch pad with a mid range and end up poisoning Japan with the fallout. Woopsie, our bad.

Less worstest case scenario 2:

We miss and the world records that we can't even hit a third world rocket with a head start much less a warhead from a developed nation. Woopsie, how embarrassing.

Just Plain Bad scenario 3:

They actually have chaff deployment and successful evasion but they're testing range and not accuracy right now. The rocket goes off course during evasive maneuvers, flies to Topeka and blows Westboro Babtist church clean to kingdom come. Woopsie. Sorry Fred.

Or it could just drop onto Seoul or Tokyo or Shanghai or something and take out a skyscraper or two because we interfered with launch. Too bad our secretary of state "could not have foreseen" that this would happen, as she is in the habit of doing.

5. Frighteningly, all those are possible. And while this post sounded funny
it was intended as deadly serious. I really think they might try something. If they do, however, I think they'll try to hit it after it crosses Japan and is out over open ocean. I really don't think they'd try to get it on the pad or over land.

.... or would they?

12. Not sure you even want to debate, but if so, here goes:
Why shouldn't North Korea develop nuclear weapons and functional delivery vehicles? Iraq did not and was invaded\occupied, so the only lesson North Korea can draw is that the only way to deter BFEE from imperial delusions is with said credible nuclear deterrent. I say, more power to 'em.

are paying Kim to launch the darn thing. (it's just a test) Remember, they also think outside of the black box... voting.

Edit: They like thug dictators as long as they can be bought! Kim can be!

I would feel bad about that statement if I hadn't read some of the things that went on in South America.
