I promised I'd give ten bucks everytime I hear a major DEM use the actual word "lie" in reference to Bush/media...

Just sent in the $10- oh no- sometimes we know not what we pray for!!!

From Imus this morning:
Their plan is "lie and die." And that's what they are doing. They lie to America, what's happening on the ground. They lie about why we're there. They lie about what's happening.

12. Words like "lie" dont cheapen discourse- actual lies themselves do that.
This would be my talking point counter to faked "outrage" that is sure to come if the GOP/media takes the bait.

17. I know, Doc.... but, it has to hurt for really sincere statesmen to have
to take that road. Guys like Kennedy and Kerry REALLY want to see in honor in government, and are always working to ELEVATE DISCOURSE. Now, they have to slug it out.

The GOP may be sorry they forced this.

I hear you, but I honestly dont think that calling lies "lies"
lowers discourse- it's the lies and liars themselves that do that.

In other words, calling a lie a "lie" may acutally reduce future lies- thus elevating discourse! At least that is my story!

Fact is, we have to use "hot" language to bait Republicans and get anywhere in the media.

Dont fret about DEMS using plain, everyday language- swing-voters use it daily.

I didn't make the promise, but since I sent Al Sharpton ten bucks for saying the "I" word, it's only fair I send JK some bucks for saying the "L" word. I have an extra $30, so you can deduct that from what you owe. Howzat??

I can take 3 LIES off your hands Doc. I really do want to hear this debate tomorrow. I still don't expect either Dem amendment to get over 40 votes (or much over 12 on one of them) but this is moving the ball forward, a lot.

And it goes to a good cause. Kerry is donating a lot to help Dem candidates.

23. Doc - - you need to set this up as an ACTION EFFORT. Challenge others
to do the same for ANY MEMBER of congress who uses the LIE word to expose BushInc.

Maybe a left media source can promote it as a movement.
