FOUR SCORE AND SEVEN YEARS AGO...

A baby named Pete Seeger was born in our country. He is a true American hero, and should be honored as such while he is still with us. He has fought the forces of bigotry and evil with the unconquerable weapons of love and music. He defied HUAC, and McCarthy, war, and greed and every American should salute him. Even though he wouldn't recognize me, I love him and admire him beyond mere words.

I learned how to play banjo from a book he had out decades ago, and learned my union songs from his recordings. Great person, great person! Anyone get the Pete/Arlo Guthrie album that came out? It was a live album, made in the '80s. I still like
