I just read the email from Kerry saying who voted for the Kerry-Feingold Iraq proposal. He was asking that we let the Senators know that we support them and thank them for their votes. There were only 13 that voted for it, but there were 140 reps that stook with Murtha in the House last week. What if we sent each one of them a paper thank you letter and carbon each of our stinking reps/senators that didn't side with them. That would be 153 pieces of paper that each of our guys received from only one constituent. It's obvious we're not getting thru to their brains in some cases (Carper, Biden and Castle in my case). Just think what a hundred or so constituents should be able to do for each state. Do you think they'd finally get it if we did a congratulatory letter each time a Dem grew some balls or a repub light stood up to the establishment?
Just a thought, but I thought I'd see what your take was on it. We always talk about thanking the individual, do you all send copies to your own reps/sens? Maybe I'm just slow on the uptake here.
