Dems are setting up the GOP to look like bastards...
They have prevented an increase in the minimum wage and have rejected two measures in rolling back troop deployment in Iraq. I don't care what Tom Curry of msnbc.com writes (http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/13477538/) the American people are not viewing this "division" on the Iraq War as a negative. What they will see, in my guesstimation, is that Democrats are doing WHATEVER THEY CAN to de-escalate our involvement in Iraq.

Cut and run? That's exactly what the American people want, even if they won't use those words. I think if we pulled the troops out tomorrow, completely, regardless of any future impact, the American people would cheer. They don't want to be associated with a losing effort anymore.

How's that social security initiative, anyway? ;) Karl Rove thinks his brilliance (snort) wins elections when it's truly the fickleness and emotional vulnerability of the American voter.

3. The GOP is going for the 'hail mary'
and that's not meant in the religious sense!!
They are trying to reuse the 'war card', 'gay card', 'immigrant card', etc. and hoping it'll do for them this year what it did in the past.
The issue is are the American people stupid enough to keep on falling for it?? That pukey feeling I get when I think about the answer to that scares the beejeebus out of me!!

4. Don't forget that's a one-two punch...
Each one of those "cards" + election fraud = making you feel pukey about your fellow American citizens (most of whom AGREE with you!!).

5. rove's only talent is in running dirty campaigns. Any efforts he
made as a policy guy failed badly. Note that he was quietly fired from that responsiblity not too long ago.

6. Agree - the Repubs and some Dems have dug themselves a
hole on the war. Folks not as stupid as they were a few years ago - including my relatives in Kansas.

8. I think the GOP is well aware that you are more afraid of dying by bomb,
or loosing a war in a horrible fashion than you are of your neighbour having a min wage job.

I don't think the Dems would redeploy from Iraq if they got into power. I think they'd give time to speed up their internal policies in Iraq.. Rumsfield seems to have only done things that would slow down a victory.. and then..when it was first possible they would leave. Why Kerry pushes it back a year.. because there are some thing that need to happen.

9. Do they have to set them up...
If no one can see that they are bastards by now they either are greedy, evil, hateful, selfish, rich or they just don't give a damn and they really believe that as long as they are comfortable its alright...

10. This is the GOP's "Hail Mary" pass.
They can't get anything done on Immigration Reform, the Anti-Gay Marriage amendment went down in flames.......

This is it for them.
