I haven't been able to make myself turn on the tv today
Where did you see it? I think it'll be safe to watch Keith O tonight. Meantime, Randi interviewed Palast earlier and saved my sanity. I think today should have been the day to bury myself in a good book. Hugs to you, btw!

12. I caught the last 2 minutes of the replay
Lamenting Santorum's faux pas. At least Keith is on now making sense and with a serious approach.

3. Santorum embarrassed himself
Edited on Thu Jun-22-06 05:06 PM by eleny
He's been shouting about how they found WMDs in Iraq. But shortly after, the DOD debunked that allegation. They were old chemicals left over from Iraq War 1. Ricky has egg on his face.

2. I Had a Nightmare Recently!
It was the day after election day. I turned on the "news". The top story, even here in Maine, was "santorum wins". I was depressed as hell. It was one of those dreams where you wake up and don't realize for a second that you were "nightmaring". It was one of the worst I've ever had.

I poop you not!

The scariest thing is, I don't know if my former home state of PA has diebold or not. If so, this may become a tragic reality.

5. Considering Republicans are some of the most immoral creatures on the
face of the earth -- I'm going to save my celebration until after the final vote is in.

I hope you're right, but lets face it.....they'll cheat if they have to.

They always do.

10. Poll: Santorum Approval Rating Declines to 34 Percent

"The Associated Press

Wednesday 21 June 2006

Harrisburg, Pa.- Sen. Rick Santorum's approval rating has skidded to a four-year low, the latest sign of distress for the outspoken conservative and ally of President Bush, according to a poll released Wednesday.

The lead for Santorum's Democratic opponent, state Treasurer Bob Casey, has stretched to 18 percentage points since early May.

Casey leads Santorum by 52 percent to 34 percent - the biggest margin since October, when the numbers were the same, according to the Quinnipiac University poll.

Only 38 percent of respondents said they approved of the way Santorum, the third-ranking Republican in the Senate, is handling his job. Forty-five percent said they disapproved and 16 percent did not express an opinion."

'I'm sure that in the next 24 business hours the tide will turn."
