Hatch reaches new heights of hypocrisy
On C-SPAN pushing his flag desecration amendment. Touting the importance of separation of powers.

Worrying more about a piece of fabric than restoring what it represents. Once, justice, peace, and benevolence. Now, illegal invasions, government secrecy, torture, and spying. A world that hates us.

Worrying about separation of powers, when he and his republican colleagues rubber stamp everything the executive branch rolls out. Refusing to impanel an inquiry on the manipulation of intelligence that led to the illegal invasion of Iraq and countless deaths and maimings.

I say to Mr. Hatch, FU

1. Difference between Conservative and Liberal
Conservatives wrap themselves in the flag and burn the Constitution, Liberals wrap themselves in the Constitution and burn the flag.

2. you're right ! So funny, he claimed there were a whopping 300
flag burning cases - but it went back to 1994.

Wonder what's behind this. Do you think it
is more than the obvious - that they want the hard right happy?

Maybe they know things are getting worse and protests will increase.

3. minor nit
Liberals wrap themselves in the Constitution TO PROTECT THE RIGHT TO burn the flag.

I don't know anyone who really wants to burn one (or at least, not until they tell us we can't!)
