One of the Emailers said that you should be a registered voter in order to donate to a campign for office...
The Emailer was thinking that would eliminate corporate donations, but corporations are not legaly able to donate now...
What it would do is stop the PAC's from donating, unless the PAC's could provide information that all donations to the PAC were from registered voters...
What does anyone else think...
Personally, I think every commercial or piece of campaign lit should be required to have the names of the five largest donors to the campaign prominately displayed...
Almost like NASCAR drivers and all their endorsements splatted across the cars and uniforms they wear...
I don't know...
There is all the Constitutionality about free speach and such, so it really is hard to develope campaign restrictions that pass the test...
Toss out some ideas.... See what we come up with...
