While Mitt(bwahaha ...the name cracks me up for some reason)has been outspoken regarding his position on same-sex marriage, what are his thoughts about the Mormon Church and it's position on polygamy?

Just curious??

2. Most mainstream Mormons have disassociated themselves from polygamy about 100 years ago

There are some hardcore fundamentalist Morman groups that still practice but technically it's illegal in the state of Utah. I don't know if you've ever watched "Big Love" on HBO, it's a great series about a fundamentalist mormon family (3 wives) and pretty much the bulk of the fundamentalists live on the outskirts in compounds that allow them to separate from the rest of the community OR, like the case of the main family on the TV show, they have to keep it a secret about the multi-marriages.

What the main Mormon church will not tell you.....is that Polygyny will be practiced in heaven. The highest level of salvation in Mormonism consists of a Man becoming a God and populating the planets to which he has stewardship over with his spirit children who are naturally born of his Goddess wives.

You will be hard pressed to get a Mormon to admit this but they DO teach that plural marriage is practiced in the afterlife and the doctrine has never been rescinded.

The only sects that practice polygamy have been condemned by the church for a long time. Mormonism is obvious garbage, but the association with polygamy is misguided.
