BTW I thought DU was for Democrats and people who support them not for people who wanted to tear them down.

I'm all for constructive criticism but this crazy.

23. So true.
If you can't handle these little scuffles, best stay out of the primary forum when Skinner puts it up.

Otherwise, use the criticism (and vicious unprovoked attacks) to hone and strengthen your arguments.

53. we aren't LOCK-STEPPERS here. there's a difference of opinion.
not every Dem can be prez. not every Dem is the best pick for the party. as a matter of fact, demanding that we fall in line behind anyone at this point is quite ANTI-democratic.

9. It is crazy and I sometimes wonder if I'm on the right site....
it's as if some people on this board are using all the crazy, right wing, neocon, evangelical talking points and I don't understand it. Senator Hillary Clinton would make a fine candidate for president just as she has been a great senator for my state. I don't agree with her 100%, or any candidate for that matter, but she needs our support if she runs for president and is nominated.

there is something very pathetic about individuals who, instead of pushing for their own candidates - and right now we have only one declared one - are crapping on someone else. What, they cannot find anything positive to say about... the Gekko?

If we had a Hater's Forum than all the Freepers could go directly there to get their talking points.

We do not have to wait for the Freepers to trash our own, we do it for them.

They would not have to search for 2/3 seconds to find the latest bashing threads for HC as well as our other fine candidates.

25. So people who are convinced that Hillary is a really lousy
candidate aren't supposed to say so? No right to express their opinion. Because believe me, I am no huge fan of either Clinton.

I remember you. You're the one who, when I was angry about people being abandoned in NO after seeing all the empty pick up trucks, told me no one would be left behind. That they took care of their own down there, you have relatives, whatever whatever whatever. Well your attempt at censorship that day was bullshit. And it is today too. Part of democracy is having to listen to opinions you might not like and have NO right to stifle. Or would you have this place renamed 'Democratic (as long as you agree with me) Underground?

It's the fact that we have a gazillian threads just on Hillary.

Perhaps if we just started one Hillary thread and do the debating there. But since everyone wants to start their own anti-hillary forum so the rest of us who wish to debate politics can find the normal threads and debate politics
