...and still lost.

Is that new record? Is she the first US Congressional candidate to raise five times as much money as her opponenent and lose?

I'm sorry, I don't understand how people could vote for some one who is probably heavily involved in bribery just because his opponent is Pro-Choice. How can people vote for a candidate who is corrupt, but pays lip service to the so-called family values.

Then again, maybe that's why George W. Bush is president.

About the Jefferson/Carter Election and there is one thing about 99% of the people on here dont get, is that the people down there love their own people and arent going to be told otherwise, Just look at the beating Nagin took in the media but he knocked off Landrieu, same thing, especially when it comes to Katrina people remember the locals that stood by them, take it from someone that spent a lot of time down there right after. I know he is scum, but he is their scum, and frankly I cant believe so many pundints missed it (in fact all of them)
