I'd never thought about it in those terms until I just heard it on the PBS newshour, but it's been 30 YEARS with a Bush and/or a Clinton on one or both of the party tickets.

That's 3/4 of my life, and all of my voting life. Enough is enough!

1. That's the second obstacle Senator Clinton has to gaining my support
the first is the flag burning thing.

3. So I take it you aren't supporting Kucinich either?
Just wondering, since he voted for a flag burning amendment too.

5. I'm a Kucinich supporter, but not for President.
Unless he wins the nomination, of course.

10. That's his first obstacle. There may be others.

However, on Clinton and Kucinich, I am open to changing my mind, because I haven't declared for any candidate yet.

14. Don't forget Hillary's "evolving" on same sex marriage
the biggest obstacle is I-R-A-Q.

the general Democratic politician one (not the grassroots one). Here for example, she endorses the ISG, and mentions redeployment favorably: http://clinton.senate.gov/news/statements/details.cfm?id=266453

On what basis do you say that her biggest problem is Iraq?

18. She has ignored the moral issue of the war, a war of aggression!
and, more importantly from a political point of view, she has not expressed any regret over her IWR vote.

4. Isn't it a Bush or a Dole?
There was no Bush or Clinton on the ticket in 1976, but Dole was Ford's running mate.

11. Just sayin'. Facts is facts.
And in the seven elections that have taken place from 1980-2004, a Clinton has been involved in only two of those elections (for that matter, so has Dole). As it's really not shocking that Clinton would run for re-election, it's really the Bushes that are most responsible for this little "streak."

with Roger Clinton, Bill's younger half brother as the Presidential candidate on that ticket.

That should take us through 2024 with the next 16 years of Clintons in the WH. Hopefully, after that we'll be ready for a change.

Is a Bush dynasty...and throwing Clinton's two terms in there is meaningless!
