Some people impeach, some people have it thrust upon them
Edited on Wed Dec-13-06 03:15 PM by underpants
They way Bush is going we may not have to impeach the guy Pelosi may have to decide which Republican gets to introduce the measure.

They, the Republicans, have to find some way to distance themselves from Bush and all things Bush but I don't see how. The only options, given the situation, is for W to do it himself (a mea culpa whilest falling on a sword) or for the Republicans to officially stand up and announce that they do not approve of him any longer. The odds are long on the latter but they are getting smaller everyday.

I'm not counting chickens and yes I DO thick he should be impeached (he won't be convicted....well at least not yet) but they are going to try to spin the ISG report and the situation in Iraq their way and frankly that is just plain nuts. I am referencing both the last election and what I am hearing from all kinds of people I know-Everyone is a bit aghast at the White House right now. They really think that HE has lost it.

Now we hear that he isn't going to make a speech until after the new year. Even though I posted that a lot of people what a bit of a break from the war for at least the holdays (not that the troops can of course) I am not sure that the situation allows for it. People are fatigued but they also see that something has to be done.

They have been spinning on and around their old spin for a while and the bubble was so evident that Daddy had to call in an intervention but they still aren't getting it.

The Army term for this is "Ate up" and they are ATE the **** UP

I'm just saying.

1. If impeachment comes
it will come from Republican insistance on it. Frankly, with more disaster looming, I don't see how anyone will be wanted to vote GOP in '08.

3. -
I added a second paragraph. Ooops.

That paragraph addresses your point. If they couldn't find the right time to cast Foley out getting rid of Bush is going to be impossible, MSM help or not.

2. Visualize it.
Then DO something to make it happen.
