1. Hillary has been polling consistently under 40%
and this is mostly because many people are not aware of her positions on the issues and don't know how phony she is.

2. Warner would be hurt by his sudden withdrawal this year
Ross Perot once tried to reenter the Presidential race after withdrawing from it once, but it was never the same after that.

3. Warner Might be a Good Candidate
but I'm afraid the flip-flopping on entering the race will hurt him. I really would like an executive rather than a Senator -- if not a governor, then Al Gore or Wes Clark.

5. Warner cancelled the date, but Obama asked us out
The road to the Presidency is like dating and marriage. Do we want this man (or woman)?

4. Could the media actually focus on what matters?
This is rumor, rumor, rumor. I doubt Warner would be that stupid.

6. Ugh, please no.
Warner is a little too conservative. This country needs a much more populist candidate if we're to have any hope of actually reversing the damage Bush has done.

7. It's all speculation
and that is why rumors like these fly, it's the media's game, and they need to stop it.

What If Warner's Reconsidering?
We're not trying to start anything but with the decision by Evan Bayh to not run, there was a lot of commentary on the Sunday shows wondering if Mark Warner was having second thoughts.

And by sheer coincidence this week, one of our NH spies informed us they received a holiday card in the mail from... Mark Warner.

Could Warner get coaxed back into the race next summer once the euphoria of Obama and Hillary has worn off? He has the personal resources... Again, not trying to start anything but simply making an observation.

PS- next time post the link to a rumor, instead of saying it is so.

11. "We're not trying to start anything"
"Now, I'm not saying it IS true, but what IF..."

"I don't MEAN to be offensive in saying this..."

Pre-emptive apologies just don't cut it. Of course they're trying to start something. HillaryObamarama burning out already, media guys? 2007's going to be a long year for ya.

8. As Heidi Klum would say, you're either in or you're out.
Sorry, Mark, but you're out.

10. I don't know if we need a president that doesn't know if he wants the job...
or not. Whomever gets the job will need guts of steel.

12. The important question is why did he opt out to begin with?
Without knowing that, the rest doesn't make sense.

When playing in the "big boy league", You've got to know when to hold em, know when to fold em, Know when to walk away and know when to run.

Warner obviously has no Clue!
