And pointed out that the police force there isn't trustworthy; the army is slightly more so... I was too busy hollering to H2S to catch much more, sorry.

P.S.( Afterthought here): What is it about the number 4? Lou Gehrig? Brett Favre (MY favorite:) , and Wesley Clark!
Maybe it doesn't mean much, but they are all ironmen!

18. This is amazing. Wes Clark has now managed to be an analyst
for all three of the major cable news networks. Talk about exposure! Viewers develop an intimacy with news commentators who they see repeatedly on the shows that they regularly watch. So Fred Thompson will try to ride his role as an actor appearing regularly on a fictional TV show into the White House, while Wes Clark appears regularly on TV as an expert on the most important issues facing the world today.

I guess a lot depends on the details of Clark's contract, what it locks him into, what it locks him out of, and for how long. So I doubt there is any chance Clark will announce this month, but prior to Labor Day is still a different story. Meanwhile Clark will be getting much more important exposure, relative to a presidential run in the Democratic primaries, by being on MSNBC than he did by being on FOX. Not only can Clark now appear on Countdown, and on Hardball, he can also be promoted on "Meet The Press".

the scale big time in the direction of truth.

If Clark has accepted a new position with a news network, does that mean he's no longer looking at other positions which would cause him to forgo his new MSNBC position?

25. Well this is good news and bad news.....
Good--We get to see and hear the General tell it like it is! :)

Bad--Politico who printed the fact that Wes was hired by MSNBC was correct for once....meaning that they have inside scoops and aren't wrong 100% of the time. :(

Actually, it wasn't politico that posted that Wes was hired by MSNBC but someone who posted in response to their story that Wes was let go by Faux. Looks like they still have no clue, if you ask me.

Now who was that mysterious poster with the inside scoop is what I'd like to know.

28. Politico only posted that he was leaving Fox
which isn't surprising since they seem to be quite alike --- question for Politico: Is Fox on your speed dial?

You're right, the 'mystery poster' knew more than their so-called 'reporter'.

26. From Hotline
A More Candidate-Friendly Audience?

Retired Gen. Wesley Clark will now be exclusively on MSNBC as a military analyst, sources have confirmed to the Hotline. Clark has still not ruled out a possible White House bid and MSNBC would be a much more Dem-friendly audience than his old gig -- Fox News Channel .

And yes, MSNBC will probably give him more recognition among Democratic voters...

I hope he stays away from Scarborough, though. Nobody on Fox was EVER as rude to him as Scarborough was.

36. Did You See T/Fucker's Comments On his Show? His Co-Hort Was No Prize Either
There was some idiot (I think he was from New Republic, Don't
know his name - sorry) who was on with bow tie boy.
T/Fucker said something about Wes being a "terrible candidate."
His co-hort gave Wes some cursory "compliments,"
but said he ran a lousy campaign. Wish I had the transcript.
Anyway, I found these comments a little curious since today
appears to be Wes's first day on MSNBC. Wonder if
he'll go on T/Fucker???

I *think* he is suppose to be a Libertarian.
Definitely not a Dem.

ugh - he is awful.
Maybe if Wes doesn't run for Prez, he could take over Tucker's show!
