Tell Congress It's Time To Pass National Health Care Insurance
TELL CONGRESS IT'S TIME TO PASS NATIONAL HEALTH CARE
INSURANCE

Every other major industrialized nation in the world
has systematic
national health care insurance. It is only the United
States that
operates on a gouge the poor to the max plan. This
issue is going to
have much increased visibility this summer as a result
of the latest
Michael Moore documentary expose, Sicko, which opens
June 29th
everywhere.

Now is the time for us to all come together and call
for passage of
H.R. 676, the National Health Care Insurance Act.

ACTION PAGE: http://www.usalone.com/hr676.php

Unless you are independently wealthy every day is a
nightmare in our
current health care system. Most of the time those
nightmares don't
make the evening news, but some are just too depraved
not to become
notorious. You may have heard, last month a woman
literally bled to
death on the floor of an emergency room waiting area,
while the
security camera tape showed the staff ignoring her
because she did
not have the correct insurance, while other people
desperately called
911 to try to get someone to do something to help her.

Under H.R. 676, Medicare would be extended and
improved so that all
individuals residing in the United States would
receive high quality
and affordable health care services. They would
receive all medically
necessary services by the physicians of their choice,
with no
restrictions on what providers they could visit. If
implemented, the
United States National Health Insurance Act would
cover primary care,
dental, mental health, prescription drugs, and long
term care.

ACTION PAGE: http://www.usalone.com/hr676.php

Isn't it time to end the national disgrace of a health
care system
DESIGNED to bankrupt all who are unfortunate enough to
need it, as we
all will eventually? Isn't it time to regulate health
care providers
to provide for the benefit of the national common
good, as opposed to
the maximum exploitation of the sick? Please join
Michael Moore in
submitting the action page above to put some real
pressure on
Congress now.

Please take action NOW, so we can win all victories
that are supposed
to be ours, and forward this message to everyone else
you know.

1. Growing up during the McCarthy years, I have always had
a pathological fear of signing my name to any sort of petition or political statement.

I signed this one.

2. NO INSURANCE COMPANIES IN HEALTHCARE!
Healthcare should not be a for profit business.

I will fight this.
