I was threatened with arrest at the premiere of F-911

The (off duty) cop put my arm behind my back and said I will arrest you. I was just handing out flyers from Michael Moore via move on. I said something to my wife Marta. She said let them take you. They got me (6-3 300+ pounds) out the door. They said don't come back in. I wonder how things will go at Sicko?

1. Hey Steve! So was I!!
They made an explicit threat what with the theater being private property. The difference was, the cop on the detail was polite and apologetic. He said " If you don't stop handing out those flyers in front of the theater, they will have me arrest you". I remember the same thing happened @ "The Day After Tomorrow" as well. I expect the theater owners learned their lesson. They spent large $ expecting "trouble" from MoveOn!

a PS to the clowns :Is this bouncy enough for you? Or more cowbell?

3. As far as I know, the sidewalk is public property
that's why the library I go to couldn't do anything about the Lyndon LaRouche people handing out flyers in front of the library. As long as they weren't in the library, or even on the steps of the library, the library could do nothing.

I would think that the theater would be the same. But perhaps not.

2. Nurses have promised to be in scrubs at the premiere
to explain things and answer questions. Wonder if they will be hassled as well? Personally, I wouldn't want to tick off someone who may someday have to take care of me.
