The Congress obviously won't try to control ANY crime the administration does, so why shouldn't they simply decide to stay in office?

"Oh, NO one will stand for that.", you say?
No one would stand for ANYTHING they have done, yet the whole Congress, Democrats included, are fully compliant with everything this administration does.

Why wouldn't they choose to stay and guarantee protection of their own crimes?
If they leave office, reason might return and then their lives will be seriously threatened.
It's really the only reasonable choice for them and one that's easy for them to make now.

We will possibly be under the rule of these unitary gangsters for the rest of our lives.

Fun to contemplate, isn't it?

1. Hillary Clinton is so hungry for the presidency...
She'll be leading a mob of supporters with a pitchfork in one hand and a torch in the other.

3. It doesn't matter. Shrub's term is OVEr in January 2009 PERIOD!
So is Cheney's. I've done a lot of checking on this, and I was thrilled to hear John Rothman on KGO state it on his radio show early in this AM. If Shrub canceled the elections in 2008, he & Cheney would still be out of office! The result would be President Pelosi, and we all know THAT is the last thing he or any of the Pubs would want!!!!

You're worrying about nothing!

John actually used an old event as an example. When DDE was to be inagurated, the ceremony was running quite late and passed the time when the President's term had expired. Harry Truman turned to the then Speaker of the House and said "Congratulations, you're now President of the US...for a few minutes anyway!"

It was nonsense then, and it's nonsense now.

6. It may not happen in the simplistic way I've indicated but I believe in essence it will happen.

9. If you honestly believe that
why aren't you fleeing the country?

I don't think you really believe it, though. I think too many people here think they can somehow bump up their lib-cred by concocting the most outrageous scenarios possible.

11. That scenario worries me, too
If the Dems would show evidence of a spine, I wouldn't be so worried.

And no, I'm not bashing the Dems...I'm fervently WISHING they would stand up to these insane bastards! :scared:

12. At the rate people are bailing on this administration, who'd stick around to join them?
Seriously, are they desperate enough to try something? I don't know....they sure act like they have something to hide. More likely, they'll disappear to some country with no extradition treaty with the US.
